“Drama Hub has helped my youngest daughter massively with her confidence, she’s like a different child. My eldest equally loves her sessions in the older class and always has so much fun. Tess is such a kind, nurturing teacher, I couldn’t recommend her highly enough.”

Why Choose DRAMA HUB?

At Drama Hub in Wendover, Buckinghamshire we create a fun, warm, nurturing environment to help our students grow in confidence and develop their communication and collaboration skills.

We treat each child as an individual, drawing on their interests and often writing scripts especially for them. In our shows there is no star – every student gets the chance to shine.  In our recent production of the BFG we had 7 Sophies and 7 BFGs and every child had a good-sized role!

Older students take part in film making workshops where they get the opportunity to work with industry professionals. Students have had sessions from Jonathan Hourigan, a professional screenwriter and Programme Director of MA Screenwriting at the University of Manchester.

Two of our groups recently worked with award winning short film director Sarah Nicholson who is a film and theatre graduate from the Royal Holloway.

Senior students recently performed in a brilliant full length production of Macbeth at St Mary’s Church Wendover. In preparation for this Royal Shakespeare and West End actor Jasper Britton talked to students about performing Shakespeare.

We also have a great stock of costumes and props which students use to create some wonderful
characters! ‘

“I loved the end if term show. It was amazing and impressive how every single child had a decent role, knew this role well and spoke confidently and with animation. Hurrah for Tess!”
